Freshman Guidance Package
The Freshman Guidance Package is designed for the student who wants to optimize their options when it comes time to begin the college selection process. Students who plan ahead generally find more success in gaining acceptance to colleges or universities.
The Freshman Guidance Package includes:
- A four-year curricular plan:
- The curricular recommendations will be made based on the student’s past academic performance; standardized tests scores and/or any other available documentation. The plan is designed to be flexible taking into account a student’s potential for maturity, goal setting and academic growth.
- A four-year extracurricular plan:
- The extracurricular plan will reflect a student’s academic or non-academic interests. It is important that students participate in activities that they choose and enjoy. These activities can be an advantage in the college admissions process.
- Individual guidance during the school year:
- Throughout the freshman year the student and his or her family can address questions, solve academic problems, decide on extracurricular activities, or simply receive support and motivation.
